Faculty and Academic Staff,

 

As you may know, the Board of Trustees has announced that the search for the next president of Michigan State University has begun. Faculty leadership is working with the Board of Trustees to determine how many faculty/academic staff will be on the Presidential Search Committee, how they will be selected, and how other aspects of the procedures proposed by the University Council will be handled.

 

In the meantime, the Office of Academic Governance is soliciting faculty/academic staff interest in serving on the Presidential Search Committee. Use this Qualtrics form to nominate yourself or another member of the faculty/academic staff. The faculty members on the Steering Committee will review all applications submitted by Friday, April 14 at noon ET and, as the trustees' intended process for selecting faculty/academic staff representatives becomes clearer, facilitate next steps.
