Item 2021-15: Process for Reviewing the Research Integrity Officer

Addressed at November 30, 2020 Steering. Suzanne Lang working with Denise Hershey. At January 12, 2021 Steering, Vice Chairperson Ben Van Dyke asked the Provost how she would like the two-year review process to be staggered given that the job is now a five-year appointment. Provost agreed to meet with UCGS for more discussion. On March 15, 2021, UCGS agreed that its Academic Research Policy Subcommittee would develop a policy document codifying UCGS's process for reviewing the Research Integrity Officer during the 2021-2022 academic year.

On November 15, 2021 UCGS heard a report form the subcommittee requesting feedback on using same survey questions and reporting that they are planning on sending the survey in early spring semester so that it can be filled out.
