Item 2021-46: Emeritus Revocation Moratorium
On February 16, 2021, UCFA stopped considering emeritus status revocation cases until a subcommittee issued guidance on how UCFA should be involved in the process. On April 2, 2021, the subcommittee recommended that the policy be interpreted such that UCFA's decision happens before the provost's and president's; independent research by Silvestri suggests that this was always the correct interpretation. UCFA considered the recommendation on April 6, 2021 and approved it.
