Provost Teresa K. Woodruff wrote a memo requesting a name change for the department of Writing, Rhetoric, and American Cultures to the department of "Writing, Rhetoric, and Cultures." At the September 6, 2022 Steering Committee, a memo expressing approval of the name change was endorsed and sent to the Provost.
